Tiger Technology Drive is Gorzycki's only annual hassle free school-wide fundraising campaign. In lieu of several fundraisers or asking students to sell anything, we simply ask for direct donations from parents, grandparents, guardians, and community members. 

100% of the funds will go directly to OUR school!

 

The purpose of this three-week NO HASSLE Technology and Curriculum Drive is to create a fund available to all Gorzycki teachers to supplement the dollars provided by AISD. Our 2019-2020 goal of $20,000 will support all Gorzycki students and teachers with technology upgrades, teacher professional education, funding for classroom supplies, and other software or materials needed to allow GMS to continue to be AISD's #1 Middle School.

Not everyone has the resources to donate, so we ask you to please be generous and consider how far YOU can support Gorzycki through YOUR financial contribution?

The GMS PTA has worked with faculty and administration to determine the most important and impactful use of your donation.  Here are some examples of how your dollars can be used:

​

• $100 = technology supplies, such as light bulbs, chargers, and batteries, a substitute for a teacher attending professional development

• $300 = a new Chromebook for students, a teacher iPad, or local professional development conference

• $500 = a desktop computer or professional development conference fees, including a substitute

• $750 = camera equipment, media equipment, or regional professional development expenses

• $1,000 = a 3D printer, C.O.W.s (mobile computer cart), classroom printers, or a national professional development conference

 

Teachers will be able to submit a request for funds to support classroom technology, supplies, and professional development to be approved by the administration. With your help, we will be able to provide our teachers and students with everything they need to maintain and exceed the Gorzycki standard of excellence!
